The straightness of the color change lead screw cannot exceed 0.010” [0.25mm] at any point of the threaded section.
Measure the straightness by placing a straight edge against the color change screw and measuring the gaps between the straight edge and the screw.
If the flatness of the color change feed screw exceeds 0.010” [0.25mm] it must be replaced following procedures shown in this manual.
