This section assumes that you have the power switch turned on and that the power supply is functioning. (Check for a green LED that should be illuminated on the side of the power supply unit.)
Symptoms of a machine initialization failure include global failure of all of the servo and stepper motors to initialize (power up). In addition to these, some LEDs might illuminate on the Main PCB, but most will probably stay dark.

If the 5V indicator LED (D43) is off, it indicates a catastrophic failure of the 5V circuitry on the Main PCB. This fault should not occur very often, if at all. Because of the expense involved in replacing the Main PCB, contact Melco Technical Support so the issue can be confirmed.
