Needle Bar Lubrication

The upper and lower felt pads in the needlecase require lubrication every 4,000,000 revolutions of the z-shaft.

Lubrication Procedures:

  1. Remove the needlecase access cover (between the middle thread guide and lower thread guide) by gently pulling it off the machine.

  1. Add 1 drop of sewing machine oil to each needle bar (at the bottom of the needlecase).

  1. Replace the needlecase access cover.

 

  1. Apply 1 drop of sewing machine oil directly to each needle bar (between each of the take-up levers and the middle thread guide) as shown in the image to the right.
