Cap Frame Driver Shafts Lubrication

Perform maintenance on the wide angle cap frame driver after 2,000,000 stitches have been sewn using the cap frame driver.

  1. Move the x-carriage all the way to the back of the machine (press and hold hoop.gif, then press arrow_down.gif). (If the driver is installed on the machine).

  2. Wipe any lint off the driver shafts and use compressed air to blow any dust off the entire assembly.

  3. Apply four drops of sewing machine oil to the upper and lower driver shafts as close to the driver as possible.

  4. Move the x-carriage back and forth several times to spread out the oil. (Or, if the driver is not installed on the machine, move the driver back and forth on the shafts).
