Motherboard Chip Set and ISA Slots	If a Melco Network PCB is to be used for communicating to Melco EMC equipment, at least 1 ISA slot is needed, and the motherboard MUST have an Intel Chip Set.
Operating System	Windows 98/ME/2000 If a ISA Melco Network PCB is needed, Windows 98 or Windows ME Must be used.

Incompatible Hardware

	If operating a  ISA Melco Network PCB ("StarLan Connection") the motherboard must have an Intel Chip© set, the VIA© chip sets do not work with a ISA Melco Network or StarLan PCB.
	Trident Accelerator video card
	Scanmaker E3 and C6 scanners by Microtek
	If older EMC Melco Embroidery Machines need to be connected to the computer, the motherboard of the computer must use an Intel Chip© Set in order for a Melco Network PCB to work correctly. It has been found the VIA© chip set will not support a Melco Network PCB correctly.
