Transform/Rotate

Once you have selected an element by clicking on it and getting a black box with handles around it, you can do the following:

To resize or edit, place your cursor over the black boxes until a double arrow cursor appears. This type of cursor lets you know which way you can move. Move the handles by clicking and dragging them in the direction that you would like to go. You can manipulate elements to make them wider, thinner, taller, shorter, or a combination or these. Also refer to Edit mode.

If you right click on the selected element, you should get a menu of options. Toward the bottom of the menu, you will see Transform/Rotate, click on that. You will now have a box around your element that looks like this:

To rotate the element: you will use the green arrow that comes from the middle of the element. You can click and drag the center green box to have the center of rotation anywhere that you would like. Once you have determined the center of rotation, click and drag the green arrow in the direction that you would like your element to rotate.

To transform the element: click and drag the triangles in the corners of the black box. You can drag them in any direction to transform the element. You may also use multiple select, click on one of the triangles, hold down the Control Key, click another triangle. Once you have selected the desired triangles, let go of the Control Key. Now click and drag just one of the triangles in the desired direction.

To transform a lettering job, enter one or more curved or straight points on the black selection box. Left click and drag on a single point. To "balloon" a lettering job, enter a curved point on the top and bottom of the black selection box at the points where you desire ballooning to occur. Hold down the Shift Key, right click and drag. Also refer to the Upgrade Lettering Tutorial for common transformations.

When you are manipulating an element, all of the stitch information will be automatically filled in to fit the new shape of the element.
