After selecting a column 1, column 2, or a single line column, you can choose from four different stitch types. The different stitch types are Satin Stitch , Zigzag Stitch , E Stitch , and Fill Stitch . If you don't select the stitch type when first inputting the column, then you will need to go into the Column Properties to change the stitch type. Choosing the stitch type is also available under the Stitch Type Menu.
The new Zigzag stitch is similar to a Satin stitch. Zigzag's can be used for underlays and borders around lettering. Use Column 1, 2 or Singleline Input tools to digitize a Zigzag.
The new E stitch is similar to a Satin stitch. E stitch's can be used for applique tackdowns or border stitching. Use Column 1, 2 or Singleline Input tools to digitize an E stitch.
