CAUTION! This service pack is for EDS III version 3.50 only! Do not install this service pack on any other version.

This service pack corrects the following problems:

	The logic for Auto Delete and Auto Queue from File: Send were reversed on ethernet network systems.
	EDS III wasn’t detecting complex fill outline crossovers.
	The complex fill was not always consistent in stitching all of the simple fills.
	When the complex fill entry and exit points were not positioned correctly, complex fill had the possibility of locking up.
	There were some communication problems between EDS III and ENS.
	The "Peripheral Status" dialog was causing a system crash in the French Version

This service pack also configures the Design Cleanup Filter in the following ways:

	Maximum Stitch Length: 127
	Maximum Short Stitches: 4
	Short Stitch Length: 2
	Delete Short Stitches: ON
	Convert Needle Ups to Jumps: ON
	Accumulate Jump Stitches: ON
	Accumulate Needle Up Stitches: OFF
	Return To Origin: ON

A couple of differences in machine operation may occur with this configuration. In designs where the START button had to be pressed twice to begin, pressing the START button once may now begin the same design. In designs where the machine is set to a JUMP COUNT of 3 to get trims between letters, the design may no longer trim between letters. If trimming is desired between letters, enable AUTOTRIM in the Lettering Dialogue Box.

There are 2 separate downloads for Service Pack 2. You MUST download both parts.
Download both files, SP2_Dsk1.exe and SP2_Dsk2.exe.

Save them to a place on your harddrive where you can find the files. After you have downloaded them go to the files, and insert a blank HD diskette. Double click on SP2_Dsk1.exe; click on Unzip. After it has written to the disk remove the disk and label it EDS3 3.5 Service Pack #2 disk 1. Now insert a blank HD disk and double click on SP2_Dsk2.exe. Follow the same procedures as for disk #1, and label the disk EDS3 3.5 Service Pack #2 disk 2.
